Sometimes, we’re stuck in the past, always looking backwards and never moving forward. Sometimes, all we look to is the future, and don’t know how to appreciate the present. Sometimes, we just want life to stop and wait for us, or we just let it pass us by. And sometimes, we take life for what is it and live it. What’s for certain is that we will all die, and that’s when your watch will stop ticking and it’ll be up to those that love/d you to keep your memory alive. You can make the time on your watch go backwards, but it won’t turn back time. Making it go forward will not make life go faster, and pulling the knob so that that time stops will not stop life from passing you by if you let it. So now I’m letting my “time” run its course, taking every chance I get to really live.

I love clocks. In photographs. Drawings. Paintings. Tattoos.
They’re really elegant, but they can be versatile too.
